Give people something they can actually use.

I bring practical ideas, honest stories, and hands-on learning to stages and workshops. People leave with new ways to think, better ways to work together, and something useful to try on Monday.

The conversation is candid, the exercises are real, and nobody has to pretend the work is easy. Plus a few laughs. We're allowed to have those.

What are you planning?

Book a keynote

Give your audience a fresh way to think about project leadership and one thing they can put to work on Monday. We’ll talk about who’s in the room, what they’re dealing with, and what you want them to take away.

Plan a team workshop

Bring the team together to work through a real challenge, such as messy handoffs or unclear roles. I’ll design the exercises around how your team works so people can practice a better approach and agree on what to try next.

The main event · custom workshops

Let's get your team working better together.

Maybe your organization is changing how it works. Maybe roles are fuzzy, handoffs are messy, or people are tired of having the same conversation. I help leaders get underneath the friction and build an experience that moves things forward.

Every workshop begins with discovery and is designed around the people in the room. We work through real situations, practice new ways of collaborating, and leave with a clearer picture of what happens next.

I've been around a few microphones.

I’ve spoken, hosted, and emceed conferences across the United States and internationally. From keynotes to lively panel conversations and hands-on learning, I know my way around a stage and a room full of people.

Making change
work, together.

New roles. Different handoffs. A team learning how to move forward together.

The Stelter Company is evolving how account executives, project managers, and strategists work together. That meant more than learning new responsibilities. People needed to understand the change, practice collaboration, and build confidence in how decisions and handoffs would work.

I’m working with The Stelter Company’s leadership team through that change, developing practical training and collaborative experiences grounded in their actual roles, workflows, and challenges.

Making collaboration visible, one conversation at a time.

From learning the model to using it.

We explored the push and pull between account and project management, mapped moments across the client lifecycle, and practiced navigating realistic scenarios. When leadership and the room revealed a need for a different conversation, we adjusted the facilitation.

The workshop findings are informing a collaboration playbook, and our work together continues as the team puts new practices into place. Change is a process, and this one is still unfolding.

How I work

Good workshops start long before the first sticky note.

I'm as invested in the preparation and follow-through as I am in the day itself. Here's how we build something useful.

01 / Discover

Listen to leaders and participants, identify friction, and get clear about what needs to change.

02 / Design

Create a custom experience with relevant examples, discussions, and exercises.

03 / Facilitate

Help people learn, practice, challenge assumptions, and work through real decisions.

04 / Follow through

Turn the conversation into recommendations, tools, a playbook, or a plan for adoption.

What I talk about.

Every audience is different. These are the conversations I keep coming back to, and the starting points for something built around your event.

Human-centered project management +

Why relationships, judgment, communication, and clarity still make or break the work.

Leading without authority +

Build influence, trust, and shared ownership even when you're not the person with the biggest title.

Leadership through change +

Help teams navigate uncertainty, make sense of new expectations, and turn change into everyday practice.

Communication that connects +

Give teams practical ways to navigate difficult conversations, reduce friction, and strengthen collaboration.

AI workflows for project leaders +

Where AI helps, where it creates more work, and how to design useful workflows without losing human judgment.

Choosing tools teams will actually use +

Technology evaluation, adoption, and building a modern PM toolkit that serves the work rather than complicating it.

Building confident, resilient teams +

Coach people through ambiguity, grow decision-making confidence, and create the conditions for healthy accountability.

A different kind of speaking engagement

Let's read, learn, and talk it through.

Join a small-group cohort for a guided, live exploration of the second edition of Project Management for Humans after the book launches. We’ll move chapter by chapter, connect the ideas to real challenges, and talk through what actually works in the messy middle of projects.

Whether you’re a career PM, a leader, or someone who manages projects without the title, you’ll work through practical exercises, learn from the group, and build a playbook you can use in your own work. Think book club meets workshop, with room for good questions and the occasional laugh.

A little backstory

I built a conference because our people needed one.

I founded Digital PM Summit in 2012 because project managers deserved a place to learn from one another, share the messy parts, and build a community. That experience still shapes how I show up on stage and in a workshop.
